Upsurge woke up groggily in the morning, and in an instant of doing so, a sharp pain throbbed in his processor. He untangled his arms from Vimira and held his helm in his hands; he rolled over the other way and groaned loudly. Warshield’s voice seemed to mock him, when he remembered the blue mech saying that he was going to have a killing handover the next day. He wasn’t kidding. How many drinks did he have last night? This was ridiculous.

Vimira mumbled quietly in her recharge, when Upsurge moved, but only woke up when she heard him groan in some sort of pain. She opened her optics a bit concerned at first until the memories of last night, reminded her that he just had a hangover. She yawned before sitting up rubbing her neck a bit, feeling the small stinging pain of his bite from their activities the night before. She looked at her hand after removing, surprised to see a tiny bit of dried up energon on her fingers, it didn't bother her, but Holy Primus he was rough when drunk. She shook her helm and looked down at her mate, who was holding his helm. She reached over and rubbed his helm lightly to try and sooth the pain away, "Are you alright? You had quite a few drinks last night."

“No kidding.” Upsurge responded with another groan. He turned to see Vimira and say how much he meant it when he said he was never drinking again, but he stopped when he noticed the out of place blue on Vimira’s neck. He was in full shock and concern, and it that moment he’d forgotten about his hangover. He reached up slowly and skimmed the bruised cable with his thumb, making sure to be soft about it to prevent any more pain, “Did...did I do that?” He certainly didn’t remember biting her, let alone hurting her. A wash of some guilt came over him at the thought that he did do it.

A small smile and laugh was given at his reply, she highly doubted he'd stay away from high-grade but at least he might try to limit himself. Vimira's smile turned into a frown of confusion when he rolled over, pausing in his words as his expression became that of concern. She watched him reach up and gently skim the bruised cable on her neck asking if he did it. She gave a soft reassuring smile, "Yes, we got a little rough last night, but I'm fine. Promise." She finished continuing to rub his helm gently.

Upsurge frowned a bit when he was told that he indeed did it. But she said she was fine, so he would take her word on it. The reassurance brought the nagging pain in his helm back to him, and he groaned again, flopping back onto the bed. He curled onto his side facing Vimira, leaning into the touch of her hand on his helm, hoping that it would relieve him. “Never again…” he murmured lowly. He was silent again until he remembered something, “We have to get the sparklings today.” He said with another groan. He just knew that when they came, Nivia’s chatter would only make his headache worse, especially with his now very sensitive audios.

Vimira smiled as she watched him curl up next to her, leaning into her touch as she continued to rub his helm gently, being careful of the dent. She gave a soft laugh when he murmured about never drinking again, before groaning about getting the sparklings. She tilted her head slightly, looking at him thoughtfully, before smiling and leaning down to kiss his helm, "I'll get the sparklings," She murmured, "And take them out today, so you can rest." She said sitting back up, giving his helm a few more gentle strokes before climbing off the berth to get ready.

Upsurge murmured a thank you, flopping onto his front side as Vimira moved out of the bed. A part of him wondered if Raidrush was going through the same thing he was; and another part of him responded most likely. If you need anything, you know where I’ll be. He said through the bond.

Vimira shook her helm with a small laugh, Alright, just rest up. You'll be better before you know it. The femme said before walking towards the washracks. Vimira gave herself a quick risen off in the washracks, making sure to get rid of the transfluid on her legs and interface panel. When she was finished she grabbed a towel, and walked out of their washroom, drying her frame off before tossing it into the basket. She made her way over to their berth and gave her mate a quick gentle kiss on his helm, "I'll see you later, Sweetspark." She murmured, turning to leave their room, and walked out the front door being sure to lock it so no bot would disturb him. The white femme then made her way to Machete's home, surprised to find the sparklings awake and began to wonder how long the mates had recharged. After giving her extreme gratitude to her mate’s teacher, Vimira grabbed the twins and gave her goodbyes before leaving the mech’s home. "So where would you two like to go today?" She asked the twins when they reached the lobby of the Citadel.

Stepup was glad that his femme creator finally came. It wasn’t that he was desperate to get out of there, it was rather interesting in the red mech’s home, but for a moment he thought he and his sister were going stay there forever. Stepup looked at Vimira when she asked where they would like to go. He wasn’t sure at first, he wanted to go back home but something crossed his mind. “Fwo’er?” he asked uncertain.

Nivia was a bit upset that they had to leave the red mech's home, but it was fun while it lasted. She looked up when her femme creator asked if where they would liked to go, glancing at her brother when he replied with 'fwo-wer', and she nodded her head agreeing with the white and blue mechling. Vimira smiled at this and nodded, "To the flowershop it is then." She said before making her way out of the citadel and down the streets to the square, any sign of last nights Social were all but a few empty stands that had yet to be removed. She made her way over to the flower shop and walked in, setting the sparklings down so they could look around. Vimira looked around the shop for a certain florist and found her watering organic flowers, "Hey Starburst." The white femme called walking over, "Hope you don't mind if we hang out here for a bit."

Starburst peered up from her watering and msiled seeing that it was Vimira along with the twins. “Oh, good morning,” she greeted, putting down her watering can and walking over to them. “It’s quite alright. Raidrush will be staying in his room today so I could use the company.” She looked at the sparklings, a playful grin on her face and she leaned down to be more eye level with them. “Would you like to see some flowers? I’ve grown some new ones.” Stepup optics widened and he laughed with a smile, nodding.

Nivia stood beside her mother and brother looking up at the flower femme, as she told them about new flowers and smiled broadly, clapping happily, "Yes! Fwo-wer's!" Vimira smiled knowing the reason for Raidrush to be staying in his home for the day. The femme looked down as Starburst spoke to the twins about seeing new flowers, and smiled at the reaction from both twins that the orange and white femme got, "Go on you two," She said with a smile, looking back at Starburst, "I'll finish watering the flowers for you."

Starburst bowed her head in gratitiude at Vimira’s offer and took the hands of both twins guiding them to the back. “Come on, I’ll show you the pretty new crystal plants.” She said cheerily, causing Stepup to laugh in excitement. As Vimira went to water the plants, an unsuspecting bot walked into the shop, the bell ontop of the door ringing to announce a new arrival. The figure stopped short seeing the familir femme and a rather smug smile appeared on her face, “Oh. Well, I certainly wasn’t expecting you here.”

Vimira smiled as she watched the twins leave with the florist, before turning to water the plant, as someone walked into the shop. She didn't look up when the bell on the door rang, instead continued to water the flowers, but stopped when the figure spoke, in a rather familiar voice. Vimira halted her activities and looked up seeing the yellow-green femme walk further into the shop, "Oh..." She began, not really sure what to say, it was probably best if Vimira kept her mouth shut and tried not to harm Echodrill, "...Hey, go ahead and look around..." She said before turning to the flowers to continue watering them, trying her best to ignore the femme's presence, but was failing at it.

Echodrill gave an amused huff at the sight of Vimira trying to act as if everything was fine. She walked around the shop, she intentially was going to get some more flowers for the day care, but the presence of Upsurge’s femme change her entire thought process. She walked arouns idley, but moved closer to where Vimira stood. “So, I saw you two at the Social yesterday.” She stated matter-of-factly. “Looked like you were having fun.”

Vimira listened as the femme moved around before Echodrill spoke and Vimira looked up to see the femme had gotten much closer to Vimira. The white femme, really wanted to tell Echodrill to frag off, but it was obvious the femme came here to buy something, and being Starburst's friend, Vimira didn't want to chase away customers. Sighing, she decided to try and have a logical conversation with the femme, "Yes we had a good time there," She began setting the watering can down, "But Upsurge drank too much and we ended up having to leave early..." Primus it felt awkward talking to this femme without trying to hit her.

Echodrill chuckled when Vimira mentioned Upsurge getting drunk. She ended up walking over to her, placing her elbows on the table across from the white femme, resting her head in her hands. “Oh, yes. I remember the last time Upsurge got drunk. He gets all randy and…rough.” The smile on her face grew almost evilly, “Being his mate, I’m sure you know what I mean.”

Vimira watched the femme walk around the table before placing her elbows on the surface and rested her head in her hands. Vimira looked down at the flowers again not wanting to talk to the femme anymore, and was actually about to tell her she had to go until Echodrill said something else. Vimira looked up when Echodrill spoke about Upsurge getting drunk and how he gets... randy and rough, as she flatly put it. She didn't like where this was going and more so, didn't like how Echodrill seemed to be intruding on the mate’s more... intimate relationship. "I don't think that's any of your business..." Vimira trailed off, Echodrill's words confused Vimira, it was almost as if she and Upsurge... frowning Vimira was silent for a moment before speaking again, "...How would you know…?"

Echodrill chuckled loudly, flipping herself over so her back was to Vimira. She cocked her head to the side and tilted it back to look at her. “Boy, do I know.” She gave a serpent smile, her optics narrowing, “There are so many things I love about that mech. He has the personality, the look, and—oh, and I must say the spike.” She turned around, leaning in close to Vimira, “Holy Primus, that mech’s got the spike. Big enough to make you feel completely filled, I must say.”

Vimira tilted her helm watching the femme and silently loathing her existence. Vimira wasn't violent by nature, but she could be really spiteful to those who pissed her off. When Echodrill started ranting on about what she liked about Upsurge, Vimira was about ignore her until the femme began talking about Upsurge's more private traits. Vimira's optics narrowed a bit as the yellow-green femme leaned closer to her, and continued talking about Upsurge's spike, she didn't like how Echodrill seemed to know about that kind of thing, it infuriated her. "...Why do say it like you know...?" She almost asked in a quiet like voice, she was almost afraid of the answer. What if Upsurge broke his promise he made a few nights ago?

Echodrill chuckled again, resting her head in a hand, “Oh come on, isn’t it obvious by now? I know you’re not that thickheaded.” She tilted her head, a mock-sweet smile on her face. “Or was I wrong about that too?”

The feline-like audios on Vimira's head flattened and she narrowed her optics at Echodrill, as she gripped the table. Upsurge may do stupid things once in a while, but he would never break a promise. This femme was playing with her; Vimira may be a soldier at spark, but she most certainly was not stupid. At Echodrill's last words, the white femme's grip on the table tightened to a point were she actually left small dents in it, as her calm gaze slowly became a glare, "I think it's time for you to leave..." Echodrill was pushing Vimira's patients, the yellow-green femme may not be a Decepticon, but she was threatening Vimira's relationship, and Vimira would be more than happy to remove her from existence.

Echodrill gave out a laugh, lifting herself off of the table and headed for the door. Though she didn’t do what she intended to when she came here, Echodrill knew she hit a nerve heard; and that was good enough for her. Before she went through the door though, she gave a twirl of her hand in a wave, “You should remember, dear, I’ve known Upsurge much longer than you have.”

"But you don't know him like I do..." The white femme muttered as she watched Echodrill walk out the door. That femme really hit something deep within Vimira, and she became scared again. Scared Upsurge had done something he promised not to do, or that Echodrill had blackmailed him to do something. She stayed like that for a few moments, just tense before looking down at her hands and removing them from the now dented table. She was going to have to pay for that, she thought emotionlessly, as she moved away from the table and found a chair off to the side. She sat down, hold her helm in her hands as she stared at the floor, waiting for the twins to return. Vimira sighed heavily, now she didn't want to go home and find out if he broke the promise.

Starburst walked out with the twins right behind her, Stepup holding onto a small pot with a few blue crystal plants inside. She looked at the table and expected to see Vimira still there but instead found her sitting on a chair with her head in her hands. She quickly walked up to her and crouched down, “Oh dear, are you okay? Are you not feeling well?” Stepup cocked his head at the sight and the strange feeling of sadness through the partial bond he and his sister had with Vimira. “Mama?” He murmured puzzled.

Nivia followed the flower femme and her brother into the first room over to their mother. She was a bit put off by the strange feeling of sadness she was receiving from her. The little femme walked over to her mother, and softly touched her mother's leg to get her attention, "Mama?" She asked in the same puzzled tone as Stepup. Vimira looked up at first her gaze landing on the twins, as they called her and her spark breaking just a bit more. They resembled him so much and it just made her feel worse. The white femme turned her gaze over to Starburst, wondering what she should say. After a few moments she sighed, before speaking quietly, "I don't what I'm supposed to do..." She murmured staying silent for a few more moments, before continuing, "I think Upsurge is cheating on me..." She didn't know how else to explain it; She didn't want to believe it, but after what happened a few nights ago and what just happened moments before this, the evidence so far was leading to that.

Starburst looked at Vimira with wide optics by what Vimira had stated. She looked at the worried-looking twins and gave them a smile, “Why don’t you to look at some more flowers? Me and mommy have to talk.” Stepup blinked at this. It seemed more and more at least one of their creators needed to ‘talk’. He put his little pot on a small table and guided Nivia away to look at some of the flowers. When they were far enough away, Starburst took a chair and sat across from Vimira, “Why would you think that? Now I haven’t known Upsurge as much as some other bots have, but he’s not that kind of bot to me.” She paused before asking another question, “What happened?”

Nivia looked up sadly at her femme creator, and for once was quite silent and didn't even complain when Stepup lead her away from the femmes. Vimira watched the twins walk off to look at more flowers, before looking over at Starburst as the femme took a chair across from Vimira. The white femme listened to Starburst, before sighing and sitting up a bit, "A few nights ago, Upsurge left our house and I followed him..." She began looking back down at the floor, "I caught him kissing a femme named Echodrill... He told me it was a mistake, that he had to or she would've done something more." She murmured watching the twins absentmindedly, "I forgave him. But, a few moments ago the same femme walked into your shop," Vimira looked back up at Starburst, "The conversation started normal, but then, she began talking about... interfacing with Upsurge. As if they had done it before and I'm afraid that it may be true..."

Starburst listened intently, and was quite surprised to hear Vimira say these things. She would have never thought that Upsurge of all bots would do things like that. She looked at the door when Vimira mentioned that ‘Echodrill’ had been in her shop a few moments ago. Primus, she just missed it; she could have done something to stop it. She sighed, “Vimira, listen to me. I know this is hard for you and everything. But Upsurge just isn’t like that. You said when Upsurge kissed Echodrill, techinally wasn’t he doing that to protect you? And well… maybe—and please to just take this into consideration—that maybe it did but before Upsurge left. Before he met you.” She sighed again, “Honestly, I think you should confront him about it. He’s not the kind to lie either.”

Vimira looked up at the femme as she spoke, calming a bit. Perhaps Starburst was right, so far all Upsurge had done was protect her, whether if it was from an enemy force or something as stupid as this. He said he had kissed her to keep her from hurting them anymore then a kiss could. And Vimira had never thought that maybe he once shared something with Echodrill and it just didn't work out for him, and he left her, which could have made her spiteful towards him and Vimira. The white femme sighed and gave somewhat of a smile to the femme, "I think I will," She murmured, with a relieved sigh of sorts, "Thank you, Starburst."

Starburst stood up along with Vimira with a supportive smile, “You’re welcome Vimira. Would you…like me to watch the sparklings? Perhaps it would be best if they weren’t around for that conversation.” Stepup peeked around the corner of one of the tables when he heard movement. He was rather worried and it showed on his faceplates. He didn’t like it when his creators were upset; it just made him upset and confused because he didn’t know what to do.

Nivia on the floor behind the table her brother was peeking around. She had her hand over her spark not liking the sad feeling she was receiving from her mother, and couldn't help but wonder why she seemed to be feeling like this lately. Vimira gave Starburst a thoughtful look, before glancing over at the twins, seeing Stepup peeking around a table with a distressed look. She knew it was because of her since they could feel the emotions she had. "I would really appreciate it..." She said looking back at the florist, "I promise to pay you back for it, somehow."

Starburst shook her head, "No need for that." She said, patting Vimira's arm, "Just please promise you'll work this out the best you can." Stepup began a slight panic when he saw his creator leaving, but she didn't call to them to follow. He ran to her and hugged her leg. He looked at her with sadness and confusion. "Mama?" Starburst sighed and crouched next to him, "Mama has to go for a little while. But I promise she'll come back." Stepup looked at her with a sad pout then back at Vimira. He didn't want to stay at other places anymore, he wanted to go home.

Vimira looked down when her mechling ran over and clung to her leg looking up at her with both sadness and confusion, soon followed by Nivia, who latched onto her other leg, repeatedly saying 'no' and 'home'. The white femme's spark broke at seeing their sadness, but she didn't want them to see the conversation with Upsurge, since the outcome could be very good or very bad. She crouched down a bit detaching them from her legs, before speaking softly, "I'll come get you later okay. You'll have fun here, I promise." She smiled warmly at them, giving them a bit of reassurance through the bond, before standing back up and looking over at Starburst, "Thanks again. It means a lot." She then waved bye to the florist and the twins before leaving the shop and heading back to the Citadel.

Starburst nodded with another reassuring smile, before guiding the twins away to find something entertaining to do. Back in the house, spurge had woken up from his much needed nap, and though he still had a slight headache, he was well enough to get out of bed and fetch himself some Energon. As he took a sip, he wondered where Vimira and the twins were, but then they went out to do something so he could let him rest. He would have to thank his mate for that.

After getting back to the Citadel, Vimira had begun to walk much slower. How in the name of Primus was she supposed to talk him about this? She came to a stop in front of their home, just staring at the door for a few moments before sighing heavily and opening the front door, stepping in and closing it behind her softly, not sure if he was still recharging. The thought of him still recharging was dashed away when she saw him getting a cube of energon, and she froze for a moment, beginning to panic. Primus what does she say? She didn't want to talk about it, simply because it could turn very negative if she did. But she had to talk to him, it was the only way she was going to clear this up, "Upsurge. Can... can we talk?"

Upsurge turned hearing the front door opening, and was about to greet everybody. But he stopped seeing that it was only Vimira and she immediately wanted to talk about something. Upsurge became concern and well as confused. He moved to sit on the couch and patted for Vimira to join him, "Um, sure." He looked around. The sparklings were definitely not here. "Where are the sparklings?"

Vimira watched him walk over to the couch and sit down motioning for her to join him, before asking where the sparklings were. "They're with Starburst." She answered simply, before walking over to the couch and sat down facing him. She gave him a long thoughtful look before sighing, "Upsurge, I saw Echodrill today," She began wondering how to go about this, "We began to talk and it kind of led to somethings that were said..." She trailed off not knowing how to exactly word it, looking down at her hands, "She began talking about your personality and looks, and... your more intimate traits and how good you are," She sighed, "My point is, I don't want to have to worry about you leaving me so I just need to know... And answer me truthfully," She looked back up at him, biting her bottom lip before asking, "Do you still... love her?"

Upsurge listened intently, a mixed feeling brewing in him when Vimira mentioned what Echodrill had said. A mixed emotion of understanding, shock, and slight guilt replaced the other. He looked down at his cube when Vimira asked if he still loved green-yellow femme. "Vimira..." He looked at her, "No. Not anymore, I don't." He sighed and pinched the top of his nasal ridge, "Look. What we had, it was stupid young love. I was still just at the end of my youngling stage when that happened. I thought I knew what love was back then and I didn't think about the long run, and it ended up not working out. So I broke up with her, and a little while after, I left the city. I thought she'd be over it by now...guess I was wrong."

Vimira sat quietly, listening to his words. So she was right to assume they did share something, and apparently Echodrill wasn't one to let go as easily as he had. She stayed silent after he finished speaking, not really sure how to reply to it. The way he spoke it made it seem like he was agitated that she had even asked, and she feared it did indeed turn negative like she thought it would. And it was probably better that she left out the fact of Echodrill insulting her, it would most likely make it worst. Sighing Vimira looked away, "I'm sorry... It seems more personal, and I shouldn't have asked..." She said quietly.

Upsurge looked back up at her, shaking his head. "No. It's not your fault. Especially since Echodrill continues to push it." He wrapped an arm around her shoulders to pull her close to him, "Vimira, I know how stressing this is to you. But I made a promise to you, and I intend to keep it." He nuzzled his head into the crook of her neck, "You don't have to worry about things like this. I'd never leave you for someone else. I need you to know that."

Vimira wrapped her own arms around her mate, resting her head on his shoulder as he nuzzled her neck. His last few words struck something in her, and made her tense slightly. Lunar had said something extremely similar to Upsurge's own words, just before he disappeared. The white femme tighten her grip on her mate, as if he would suffer the same fate in mere moments, but she forced herself to calm down letting her frame loosen up. She had to remind herself that he would always be there, he promised. She let a heavy sigh out, kissing his neck softly, "I know, I just..." She trailed off not wanting to really turn this into something else instead she tightening her hug, "Nevermind. Thank you, for the talk."

Upsurge hummed softly at Vimira's kiss. "Your welcome." He straightened up to look at Vimira in the optics, "if you need anything, I want to you to come to me. I will always be there for you. Even when I'm far away." He said, touching the glass over her sparkchamber. And he meant it, even if they were worlds apart, he would help her through the bond they shared.

She could feel the truth in his words, and although she trusted him to keep his word, she couldn't help but feel just a bit scared that something would happen that was out of his control and he would be gone. Vimira smiled softly at his words, and reached up holding the hand over her spark chamber closer, deciding not to think about it now, "I will, I promise." She finally said sending her thanks and love over the bond.

Upsurge smiled at the hand that enclosed around his. He leaned forward and gave Vimira a compassionate kiss. "Should we get the sparklings now?" He asked when he broke the kiss. He now understood way she didn't bring them along, it just wasn't good for them to be present in these kinds of things.

Vimira smiled into the kiss before nodding to his words, "Yeah, They've been looking forward to coming home." She said, standing with her mate, giving him a soft look, "I can go get them if you’re still not feeling well." She said, now remembering that he had a hangover from all the high-grade. He seemed alright but she wanted to be sure.

Upsurge shook his head, putting his cube of Energon to the side. "It's okay. I could use some fresh air." He stood, politely taking Vimira's hand and leading her and himself out the door and to the flower shop. Stepup had been waiting by the door for his femme creator to come back, while Nivia and Starburst continued to look at the flowers. He would've done the same, but he had a terrible nagging feeling inside him. He perked his head up when he saw the door open and smiled widely seeing that both his creators have come. He called out to them loudly and ran over, hugging both of their legs tightly.

Vimira looked down surprised at how quickly Stepup moved and how loud and excited he was to see them. The white femme smiled and crouched down to be more optic level with the mechling, and gently stroked his helm, "See? I told you we would be back." She murmured, before looking up at an excited squeal. Nivia came dashing over when she saw both her creators standing by the front door. She ran over and latched onto her mech creator's leg, babbling about 'wuve' and 'mommy & daddy'.

Upsurge smiled sweetly down at the excited young femme when she latched herself onto his leg. He bent down and picked her up, giving her a big hug. "Hi, sweetspark. How long as it been?" He asked rhetorically. He placed a kiss on Nivia's head as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Stepup nuzzled his head into Vimira as she stroked his helm comfortably; he was so glad to see her and his mech creator. Starburst walked up to the mates, a bright smile on her face, "I take it things are worked out?"

A smile grew on the little femme’s face when her mech creator picked her up and babbled an answer to his question before wrapping her arms around his neck as he kissed her helm. Vimira smiled at the little mech and gently picked him up, holding him close as she looked over at Starburst. The white femme nodded to Starburst question, "Yes, everything's fine now." Vimira said with a smile looking over at Upsurge before her gaze returned to Starburst, "Thanks again for watching them, and for the small pep talk."

Upsurge looked at Vimira when she did him. He was a bit confused on what the two femmes were talking about but realized it had to do with the recent situation, so he just let it be. "And thank you for watching the twins." Upsurge added. Stepup looked up at Vimira with a questioning look on his face, "Home n-ow?"

Vimira looked down at the small mech and smiled nodding her head, "Yes, we'll be going home now." She said before waving her goodbye to Starburst before leaving the flower shop with the twins and her mate in tow. Vimira sat on the couch, reading through a few datapads Redcross had given her to study, while the twins played quietly in their room. It had been a few days since Vimira encountered Echodrill, she hadn't seen the yellow-green femme since and was thankful for it. And now everything seemed to be okay, and she just hoped and prayed to Primus it would stay that way.
